2015 was a dramatic year in consumer technology. Apple finally shipped the Watch, and the almost mythical “future of television” edition of the Apple TV, along with the iPad Pro, and a brand new MacBook. Microsoft released Windows 10, and surprised everyone when it unveiled its first laptop, the Surface Book. The overall quality of the gadgets this year was phenomenal, especially in smartphones, a welcome change from 2014’s parade of identical glass and aluminium slabs. All in all, it was a great year to be a geek. (read more)
