A few years ago I helped introduce Office 365 to a large organisation. It was all fairly straightforward, but one of the surprising points of data came from Microsoft’s Slack competitor, Teams. The organisation had previously rolled out Yammer (Microsoft’s corporate Facebook) but Yammer was a ghost town, and the organisation was keen for Teams to not suffer the same fate. Looking at software usage in the company, Slack was a huge hit, popping up and connecting individual teams throughout the organisation. (read more)
